on my blackberry i downloaded ” mobishield trustmobi ” a mobile anti virus app
the only thing i cannot find out about it is if it has real time protection?
does it scan files / apps that i download?
does anyone know how reliable and good it is?

Blackberry’s are very secure and don’t have viruses (Encryption is so high that hackers don’t bother with writing viruses for it). You really don’t need a virus protection app. If you really do want it though, here are your answers.
Most (if not all) antivirus apps for mobile DO NOT have real-time protection. This is due to battery drain and preserving the life of your phones processor. (you’d be lucky to get a few hours out of your phone with it.)
You normally start your own scans when you want. Nothing is automatic. If I’m not mistaken, it scans your whole device not individual files.
