Should Windows 8 Be Called Windows Ph (phones Handhelds) And Windows 8 Be Pure 64 Bit Os For Computers?

Windows 7 already has backward compatibility so why bother upgrading to the same thing?
Way back in the dark ages was Windows CE that was for handhelds and phones so Windows PH could be an upgrade from that.
We are all used to 64 bit operating system, most people and probably only those that really matter, so Windows 8 should be pure 64 bit architecture and no backward compatibility to ensure that viruses are least likely to be much of a problem (for a while, anyhow) and that 32 bit apps don’t cause problems or issues.

I’m pretty sure it’s just on my computer, because it works fine on my phone.
Basically, when I log in I can do like 50% of the stuff, but not the rest.
My chat can’t open up, and I can’t be online, can’t open messages, or lists of friends…but I can only look through new posts and notifications..
some kind of virus… or i don’t know..
I also don’t know what to do about it…

My phones memory card is saying its “write-protected” and i can not do any thing with it .some one in yahoo answere that “If it is a SD card, then the on/off switch is on the side. If it is a Micro SD card the switch is on the adapter.” now my question is how to switch on the adapter. plz help i have micro sd card which saying wright protected .

I would like to run Diablo 3, perhaps skyrim :p. Not Bf3 but pretty good 2011 games id say around 25+ fps on high? these are the specs.. by the way, i already have a crazy gaming desktop custom built with 1k watts 670, i7, 8gb ram 1tb 7200 rpm, 1920×1080 so dont tell me to get that.. Ok i know that there are better laptops but i want a sony and its always been a dream of mine so yeahh… so this laptop is around $1000, is it good enough to run 2011 games? Iphone And Ipad Vs. Mac Book Pro?

For graduation my parents were going to buy me a Mac Book Pro for college. Recently we have been exploring the option of instead purchasing the iPhone and iPad. I for sure want to get the iPhone in the future anyway because I have been having a ton of problems with my current HTC phone, and I already have a Dell laptop that I have been using for 2-3 years without any problems. My dad’s big thing is that the Mac is famous for being resilient to viruses and he wants a computer that will last me through college. However, if I get the iPad I’ll have the extra stuff that the Mac has but will be able to use my Dell for homework and papers which, essentially, is all I’ll need it for. I’m wondering if it will be worth it to forgo the Mac Book and go with the (less expensive) option of an iPhone and iPad?
