How Does This Computer Sound For Gaming?

this is just what the person customizing it told me i need you people on yahoo to tell me if its actually good ty
the XPS 8300 desktop. For a gaming system, the important hardwares are processor, memory and video card. Here are the specs of the system I have configured:
It has the 2nd generation of Intel core i7-2600 processor running at 3.2 ghz to guarantee fast processing and downloading,
8 GB of RAM so you can multitask and run multiple application in one time without lagging as well as
1 TB Hard Drive so that you will have enough space to store in all your important files and documents.
Windows 7 home premium and MS office starter edition which includes the reduced functionality of Word and excel.
It also has McAfee anti virus protection, spy ware and firewall protection for 15 months.
no monitor, no speakers but standard with Dell multimedia keyboard and laser mouse.
It has the Dell 19-in-1 media card reader for digital media cards
Since the system will be used for gaming and multimedia purposes, I have configured it with AMD RADEON HD 6770 with 1 gb video memory for the video card and Soundblaster Xtreme audio giving you maximum gaming experience for both video and audio.
Ethernet port for cable interenet connection
Lastly, it comes with 2 year limited warranty, in home service after remote diagnosis and 24×7 phone support.

A little less than the system I just built … I think I paid about $1000-$1100 for mine .. Got a little better graphics Card and a liquid cooling system … How much they charge? .. I would say that anything under $1300 would be a good deal plus whatever they charge for the warranty
And yes that would be very good for gaming
Also check the wattage of the PSU .. if its from Dell I’m sure its okay tho…
ANd check the Mhz on the Ram (Hopefully its 1600 Mhz or higher)
That Graphics Card is really Low end for that system tho … Its about $150 and just seems odd to me that it doesn’t have a nicer one … How comfortable are you with building it yourself?

Unless you have something like a 5.1 Surround sound setup, the Soundblaster Audio is a waste of money. You’ll never hear it with just standard stereo speakers. I don’t know if that computer can have the graphics card improved further, but if you can get either a better graphics card or dual-cards, you’ll notice that much more.
