I ordered some stuff online from mothercare. Next thing I tried to open another webpage and the page kept going slow and just closing. Then literally about 100 little error boxes popped up and everything is saying C drive is critical. Have rebooted computer about 10 times but the screen just goes black with limited icons in the start menu. Screen stays black with loads of random box asking me to check disk. Then it finds faults saying I should fix them. I click fix then it tries to charge me.
This is a work laptop that seems to be unusable.
Even the boxes that pop up, I am not even sure if they are genuine.
Does any one have any suggestions?
Using blackberry to post this question as it seems the lap top is fried

sounds like your hard drive is somehow damaged. Try reformating your HD. http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windows7/h…
Popups claiming that something needs to be fixed and then asking for money definitely indicate a virus infection. If you’re able to boot into Safe Mode (hold the F8 key while booting), try using something like Malwarebytes (http://www.malwarebytes.org) to clear out the virus. Reformatting is only a last hope solution and since the laptop belongs to your employer, they may wish to do that themselves.
Take it to your nearest computer shop and see what they can do.
Run Avast on your system along with Reginout
Use the reformat CDs that came with your computer when you bought it.
