I have the HTC Inspire android phone and got it in late september. Its turning to a real let down lately, and my boyfriend has it, too.
The other night it froze up while I was on the internet and I just let it be and I went to sleep. Its being extremely slow to respond and hard to type. I used my app killer and it usually stops about 17 to 21 operations, but it said it killed 44. I only have about 10 downloaded apps.
I’m not very good with technology

It is possible, but highly unlikely. In your case, bits most likely the phone. Htc is crap.
Probably doesn’t have a virus.
I’m a Techie, but I choose not to have a smart phone. They are very overpriced, in my opinion, for the technology that is in them, but the market supports it nonetheless.
I suggest you get a “stupid phone” like the other poster said above. It’s a whole lot simpler, and you don’t have to feel “connected” 24/7
Heh, that’s one advantage of having a Stupid Phone.
All it can do is make and receive phone calls (what a concept!) So it’s impossible for it to get infected with anything!
Har har! (now I feel better about having a Stupid Phone)

Yes, but you would have to intentionally execute the program and infect your phone.
