I was watching a youtube video which never has any issues when I watch. And then all of a sudden my blackberry shuts off and reboots is it possible there is a virus? If not what could be the reasoning behind the problem. I also have been experiencing an issue where whenever I take a picture then view that picture that picture isn’t there and I have to take my battery out and restart my phone just to view the picture(s) that I took. Any suggestions on what the problem could be?

In general your Blackberry curve can get a virus but definitely not from watching videos. It could also be some sort of hardware/software problem. Maybe you should take it to a service centre, they can check it out & tell you what’s wrong.
Blackberry phones are designed with corporate users in mind. They take device security very seriously. Blackberry phones will not even run apps that Blackberry does not officially authorize through their AppWorld.
Google runs YouTube, and I think most of the videos there are pretty clean.
With all of that, I doubt your device caught a virus. It is more likely that the device simply had a momentary systems crash and rebooted.
You should check to make sure the device software is updated. Download and install Blackberry desktop Manager. Run the program and connect your phone. In a couple of minutes, it should pop up a window advising you if your phone needs an update. If you allow the update it will install and could probably fix both problems.
