I used an application to sane all my iTouch songs onto my pc hard drive. (I lost my iTunes library when my pc got a virus). I successfully saved my songs to an external hard drive. Since my sister got a new iPhone, I tried loading those music files onto her Mac iTunes so she can sync it to her iPhone. She was able to load all the songs onto her iTunes, then she sync them to her iPhone. After syncing, I went to “Music” section of her iPhone and it won’t let me edit or delete any of the songs. The song list is gray. When I tried syncing the songs manually, it won’t let me. Nothing happens when I drag the music files to her iPhone.
What should I do?

I have no experience with an itouch but do with a 160GB ipod. If my ipod is in automatic sync and I click on the music tab under the ipod icon all my songs are grayed out too. If I put my ipod in manual sync they will not be grayed out and I can drag music to the ipod icon to load it. So if an itouch works the same way click on the itouch icon and click the summary tab. Check the manage music manually box (I think that is what is says). Hope this helps. Good Luck.
You need to edit or delete the songs on iTunes. The songs synced to her iPhone but then what? Does the songs not play in her iPhone? Did you sync it as a playlist? Does her original music on the iPhone play? Usually you can only sync one iTunes per iPod/iPhone. Maybe try saving all your music under one playlist then sync it, also check the memory space.
