I’ve tried safemode but i get the same results. And I’ve tried an F-Secure bootable CD which found nothing. I’ve tried two other rescue CDs that failed function properly.
Any advice?

you cannot load an anti-virus program onto a pc that already has a virus and expect it too find the virus. If you can, 1st remove any anti-virus software that you may have just added, then use an online virus scanner to find the evident virus. these online scanners usually don’t find everything but will hep you at 1st. F-prot used to have an online scanner. Once that has been completed load you anti-virus software back on. Make sure the virus definitions are updated and scan with that software. If this does not work, you may just have malware which is disguising itself as a virus. In this case try installing Malware Bytes.If this still does not work, I would suggest formatting and re installing. You would need to back up any data 1st of course.
go to cnet.com and download malwarebytes, it’s free, install it and it will find all malicious software on your hard drive and delete them. Should fix your problem.
