mobile phone virus news and moible virus removal faqs

guy calls you saying there is a mysterious “malicious malware” on computer, is a fake, do nothing. claims slowing of internet/computer a sign. did star 69, no phone number able to check. hung up when I demanded a physical address of his company. claims he works in some way with microsoft. Just posting this in hope someone who googles website reads this before entering probably virus infected website.

An app called DROID apps has been downloaded and it constantly gives me pop ups for things like dating website and other apps it is really annoying and doesn’t show up in my app store so i can delete it and no virus scanners pick it up either .

I have a Dell Inspiron 15840BK. Running OS is Windows 7.
No viruses or anything of that nature
The router/modem box ( Westelll) is on and all the lights are green : Internet, E1,E2, E3, E4, Wireless, DSL, Power.
The reason for E1 E2 E3 E4 being on is I have to connect my laptop to internet via an Ethernet Cable. The last know time for laptop connecting wireless was about two hours ago.
I deleted two programs from my control panel. these programs had nothing to do with the computer, internet, or Dell. They were Bonjour for Apple music sharing, and another I downloaded with a free trial of a Word Processor. ( dont remember the name)
I called Dell Tech support first regarding the issue since it is a Dell Product. I was directed that maybe it was my Modem/Router. I assured the guy on the other end that it was not the Internet or the service provider because it( the router) works fine with my iPod.iPhone, and Android. I assured him that it was working quite well an hour before I called him and it worked fine early this moring when I used it last and had worked properly without the usage of an Ethernet cable. End result was I could pay $210 for a guy to install some product on it when I spent nearly $600 just on the laptop itself.
He directed me to call my ISP ( internet service provider) so I did and explained my problem to them and here’s the answer I got” It’s the laptop, the wireless driver isn’t working” It’s not recognizing my modem. The lady said I can get a package to add on to allow them to assist me with connecting my Laptop to the modem w/o the cord for a monthly fee of $16 and the bill is already 90 bucks a month. I asked about a one time trial and she said it would be $100.
My question is. I know it needs a driver installed for the wifi modem, but where would I find one? Simply Google Dell Wireless Drivers? And it comes up available to download? or what? I need answers.. If you need more info? Let me know thanks in advancee!! and my apologies for the long post

I like to save google images to my phone and set them as my wallpapaer or from facebook. I’m wondering if my phone could get a virus from doing this? I have a blackberry bold 9900 smartphone.

Yeah, I have an iPhone 4. I have never jailbroken it or anything, but i was thinking about doing it now. I heard that its initially completely safe unless, you know, you download something from Cydia that has a virus or something. Am i correct? By just jailbreaking, (with redsn0w) it does nothing to harm the device, but then you risk it by putting on the apps from Cydia?
Anyways, I wanted to jailbreak it, but i have a warantee on my iphone that if I break it, I can bring it back and get a new one.. But by jailbreaking, will that like change that even if I reset it? Because i heard you can reset it just by going into iTunes and hitting “reset” or upgrading to the new iOS? Yeah, ill learn about the SHSH blobs and stuff, but i just wanted to know basically, Can i reset my iphone to the total factory settings after jailbreaking, so that it can be normal and unchanged, as if i NEVER jailbroke it? Sorry, i love my iphone and id rather not jailbreak if it will slow it down or anything.. Btw i have an iphone 4 with iOS 5.1. Thanks (:

My computer got a virus and then crashed so I had to reinstall new OS Vista. Now, on my iphone I have my music with (playlists, artists, songs, albums), Apps and the rest of the information. I have installed new itunes and was able to transfer apps purchased over to itunes.
The questions is:
How do I make itunes having the same playlists, artists, songs and albums as before. I do not want to sit for hours and create everything from scrach.
In addition to App transfers, is there a way to transfer the rest of the data over to itunes?

It looked like a dm from a friend with a link… so i clicked on it and STUPIDLY put in my password. But i opened it on my iphone which i hear can’t get viruses- is this true? and… will changing my password on twitter stop the dms and tweets? has this happened to you? Thanks:)

ok i really enjoy slomotion videos and i wanted to create some of my own…could you give me good reliable programs…here are the requirements….i must be able to shoot footage with my iphone 4s and upload it and edit it on my computer,it must be high quality with good slomotion effect,has to be FREE,and lastly it must be able to do suupper slowmo videos yet still maintain high quality and that slowmotion effect….(i have tried the apps but they cant shoot in all that much high quality,the slowmotion just kinda looks blurry and they dont really work for me,,,for example i want to be able to catch footage of a balloon busting and be able to slow it down enough so that when the ballon pops u can pretty much see the water still in place in midair in the shape that it was in the balloon if u know what i mean and still be able to see it clearly and not blurry with a slowmotion effect…hope u can help me thanks:) o and btw whatever program u seggest to me please make sure it is virus free thankssss
