Paypal Computer Recognition Problem.?

Alright so, this is getting really annoying.
I got a paypal account a few months back simply because I don’t have a credit card (for personal reasons) and needed to buy some things off the internet. Ok so far, however I received payment last week from something and the money was sent to my paypal account, but now every time I try to log onto paypal a window of sorts pops up telling me that paypal couldn’t recognize my PC and so I needed to verification by putting my credit card number…which I don’t have…otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered using paypal.
So my dilemma is that I apparently need verification, but I don’t have the credit card to verify with, plus how can they verify anything if I don’t even have a credit card info on my account to begin with? Stupidest part is that when I try to get in touch with paypal either by getting their phone number or email adress I get blocked AGAIN with the same verification deal and it won’t let me go any further, even when I pick the “no account” option…how does that make any sense?
Not to mention this is the ONLY PC I’ve ever used on paypal.
I’m actuallystarting to think that either I’m being scamed, got some weird virus that’s trying to get my info or paypal are being retarded. Someone please help before I throw my PC out the window…
