What Is The Big Deal About Nokia Phones?

By mobile virus Posted in: phone virus

I have a Nokia 5800 muicexpress navigator.
Pros:
- Great display
- Flawless music and video player
- Great talk-time (5hrs in 3.5G and 8hrs GSM)
- Great web browser
Cons:
- Menus are not easy to navigate
- Difficult to size photos to properly fit screen
- Very, very weak antenna
- Texting is difficult
- Camera quality is nothing spectacular
- Phone’s OS seems to freeze more often than others’ (I use Kaspersky for my computer, and use Kaspersky to scan my phone for viruses. No viruses are ever found, which eliminates that as a reason for the system freezes)
I can deal with most of the cons I listed, but there’s no point in having all the pros if I can’t use my phone to make a call. It’s not my phone service. If I take my sim card from my Nokia and put it into my cheap motorola v190, then I get full bars. It’s not even the fact that I switch from a phone with an internal antenna to one with an external antenna. Other people who have AT&T service using phones with internal antennas get perfect reception at my place. Also, this is my second Nokia. The first one (which was a different model) didn’t get great reception, but I thought the problem might have been with the other model. It’s why I decided to give this one a try. Everyone talks about how incredible Nokias are and how they can make a call from places where other cell brands won’t work at all.
Overall, I’m not impressed by Nokias. What is the big deal about Nokia phones?
