What’s With This Guy? Does He Want To Get Back Together?

So me and my best friend we used to go out and broke up for various reasons, mostly it wasn’t working at the time, and i have exams this summer. Over the course of 3 months we had a few flings but didn’t get back together.
On a night out recently, he admitted that he had a one night stand with a girl who he said wasn’t very nice and that i was much better than her. That same night i had taken an overdose the week before and he was shocked, and then in the taxi home he cuddled me close the entire time, we also kissed twice.
A few weeks after that, I took an overdose and text him to say goodbye, and he kept me talking, until he got to my house where he had found me passed out on my bed, he alerted my parents and an ambulance came, he then came in the ambulance with me but had to leave hospital quickly because he has Cystic Fibrosis and cannot be exposed to any infections or viruses or anything like that.
The next day, I was discharged, and he CYCLED to my house to be with me and to comfort me and we talked and he held me while i cried and never let go of me, and kept telling me over and over again how much he loves me.
A few weeks later i was in his house and we were watching tv in his room, and i cuddled up to him and he put his arm around me and i started messing pulling his lips with the tip of my finger and he caught my finger between his teeth and held it there, we also had out legs intertwined and he tickled me off the bed at one point
A few days later, we were in his room and were doing the same thing except that we started rubbing our feet together and he turned over fully to envelop me completely in a massive hug, and then he started to pull away saying it was getting too sexual but i said it’s quite obvious we both want to and then we started kissing and one thing led to another and we had sex.. a lot. And I stayed the night and he kissed me before i left the next morning.
Last night, I went to his house for a party because he’s going away for 6 weeks to spain to learn spanish, and i got talking to his mam and she kept saying that he loves the bones of me and that he’s never been as close to anyone else as he has to me, and that she thinks we will get back together.
Today while he was at the airport we were talking on the phone, and he goes look don’t worry about your exams, you’ll do fine, i’m so proud of you and he heard me starting to cry a little, and then he says ok well i have to go, i love you and then i just lost it, i started full on crying, but happy tears and told him i love him too and he goes, cool, i have to go, i’ll talk to you when i land and we hung up.
